  • Overview

    Under the direction of the Marketing Vice President, the Marketing Manager is responsible for developing, implementing and managing marketing campaigns for assigned portfolio. He or she plays a major role in enhancing brand awareness within the digital space as well as driving website traffic and acquiring leads/customers.  The position will be based out of our corporate office in Mclean, VA with some travel required.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and review marketing & media plans, campaigns, budgets and strategies for assigned portfolio.
    • Partner with operations teams to analyze local market trends and make strategic marketing recommendations.
    • Oversee and manage the development of creative communication pieces, promotional materials, presentations, websites, and report materials for an assigned portfolio
    • Advance the overall quality of strategic thinking, creative direction and technology use to maximize the marketing program effectiveness in meeting growth and cost savings goals set by the company
    • Use analytics data to suggest ways to increase presence and capture leads; works with internal team to implement and make necessary updates
    • Track, monitor and report on lead sources, traffic and campaign effectiveness
    • Stay abreast of competition and real estate marketing trends
    • Work with Regional Managers and Property Managers to monitor community marketing initiatives in accordance with the strategic plan and adjust based on specific needs to maximize traffic
    • Travel to designated submarkets for in person marketing assessments and consultation as needed.
    • Maintain in-depth knowledge of online marketing channels

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
    • Leadership skills
    • Prior marketing experience preferred
    • Strong writing skills, to effectively communicate your brand’s message
    • Data analysis skills, to extract value from reporting tools
    • Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage projects/tasks spanning multiple departments..
    • Proven success in crafting and implementing innovative ideas and concepts
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Valid driver’s license and transportation
    • This job requires 25% - 50% travel.
