Position Overview:  

KETTLER currently has an opening for a Regional Operations Specialist - Leasing Manager, based in the DC Metro area. This position leads operational success throughout the KETTLER portfolio and requires local and multi-state travel. The Regional Operations Specialist - Leasing Manager, under the direction of the Regional Operations Specialist - Area Manager, must have the ability to quickly adapt, assess needs, provide multi-site leasing team leadership, demonstrate excellent customer service, and excel in maximizing occupancy through strategic marketing, outreach, and sales expertise.  

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a brand champion and subject matter expert in KETTLER platform. 
  • Lead by example to maintain a positive climate and a high-performing, engaged, customer-focused team. 
  • Deliver a positive customer experience, quality living environment and the achievement of property goals. 
  • Serve as a mentor to team members throughout the portfolio. 
  • Maintain company and brand standards throughout all aspects of the community. 
  • Manage administration of the leasing office. 
  • Support Community Manager and/or Assistant Community Manager in coaching and leading success of leasing and marketing guidelines, benchmarks, and key performance indicators. 
  • Lead and contribute to consistent delivery of KETTLER standards in social media marketing, brand management, lead management, leasing tours, and strategic follow-up. 
  • Design and execute strategic community events, outreach initiatives and local business partnerships to effectively market/promote the community. 
  • Understand the current sub-market and competitive advantages of the community in which you are working and mentor others to ensure their comprehension. 
  • Contribute to achievement of all team goals and resident retention. 
  • Lead team to maintain proper application, move-in and move-out processes to ensure compliant resident files and ledgers.  
  • Take ownership of resolving customer concerns. 
  • Utilize company guest suites/resources as available to minimize travel expenses. 
  • Other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of residential leasing experience required. 
  • Must have a current, valid driver’s license. 
  • High School Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree preferred. 
  • Computer proficiency and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. 
  • Extensive knowledge of Property Management software programs- Yardi platform experience preferred. 
  • Lease-up experience is preferred. 
  • Demonstrated leadership ability and proven history of success with the leasing process. 
  • Must be able to work on the weekends. 
  • Must be able to walk apartments, communities, and grounds, including steps and climbing stairs. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact with residents and internal and external customers in a positive, professional manner. 
  • Working knowledge of applicable Landlord Tenant Laws, Fair Housing mandates and other legal issues affecting property management.
